Global Talent Director

Candidate Profile:

  • Relevant degree or more than 5 years experience recruiting, managing and training teams

  • Desire to innovate in human resources management to attract and retain passionate, hard working, curious individuals

  • Experience in managing and coordinating teams;

  • Experience in project management

  • Experience working in West Africa preferred

  • Have some understanding of labour laws

  • Passionate about our mission and rural development; dynamic, highly motivated, able to hit targets under pressure and a keen problem solver

  • Open-minded, strong emotional intelligence, empathy, observant as well as creative

  • Fluency in French and English is required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the talent management team including hiring, training and coaching

  • Lead hiring, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement as well as talent management to free the full potential of Oolu employees in our different countries of operations.

  • Lead company culture initiatives and improve the culture and work environment by analysing employee feedback and data.

  • Understand Oolu Solar’s operations and strategy to identify gaps and anticipate upcoming HR needs.

  • In charge of leading senior recruitments directly

  • Oversight of human resources operations

  • Other duties as requested by DG or Board of Directors

  • Minimum commitment of 2 years
